T-Mobile's first 3g phone is the Samsung T639, sort of.

Well the FCC has disclosed information that leads some to believe that the Samsung T639 may in fact be the first 3G headset headed to T-Mobile. Although it hasn't been confirmed through any sources it seems as though this would probably be everyone’s beat as to which phone would be coming to T-Mobile in 3G. The Samsung T639 is similar to most of Samsungs ultra-thin clamshell phones in profile and I highly doubt the features will be any different as you can expect to receive bluetooth, camera, and possibly an expandable memory card slot. Look for updates to this phone and I do think we'll see 3G in no time on T-Mobile since other carriers are already upping their networks.
Cheers,

Samsung T409 announced for T-Mobile.

Samsung has recently released the Samsung T409 exclusively for T-Mobile to utilize their newly released Hotspot@ Home calling service. What makes the Samsung T409 so "special" is the fact that the phone is a hybrid in a sense that while using the phone near the HotSpot router it'll be in WiFi mode, bring the phone outside and it'll seamlessly switch to GSM. This whole feature that T-Mobile is trying to sell is a great way for customers to save on minutes since using the WiFi counts as data rather then minutes. This little device and service will also boost the reception that some of us get/don't get at our homes via the included, at an additional charge of course, router which we can plug in at our homes. The Samsung T409 is one of the first models to utilize this service and I'm sure it won't be the last. Please check AccessoryGeeks.com for all your Samsung T409 needs.
Cheers,
